Where to eat in Hong Kong
Because I lived in Hong Kong 6 months, I decided to write a post for those, who are planing to visit this amazing city or who lives there and wants to know some tips for a new places where to eat some nice food. I have my favorite places where I eat when I don't want to cook by myself, but I don't have photos from all of these places so I will share with you just some of them.
I found this Thai restaurant Lil' Siam on Central accidentally, when I was with my boyfriend on our way to Victoria Peak and we were exploring Central, because I lived there for three months. We were hungry and we wanted to try something new. So we went to the first place which we saw and we were lucky. Food there was so delicious that we had to come back one more time before my boyfriend had to go back to Czech. We tried two different soups and noodles in really thin egg omelette. All of it was delicious, employes of the restaurant were friendly and fast. If I ever come back to Hong Kong, I'll definitely come back to this restaurant again.

Another amazing food which you have to try is this dessert made of rice, coconut, fruit (my favorite mango) and ice-cream. I would never say it can be so tasty, just another food made of rice, but I was nicely surprised. I've never tried something like this but when I tried it I fell in love with it. I couldn't finish it, because I was quickly full. This dessert is perfect for all of those hot days in Hong Kong.

Just a few steps from Triple King Cafe on Causeway Bay you can find a street shop with some Chinese food (which I've never tried, because I don't have enough courage and I like my life), where you can also try their waffles called "egg waffles". I guess they named them as egg waffles because of their look. They are little bit sweet without any topping and I am sure that you will like them!

It's a pity that I cannot find any website of this restaurant so I don't know the name of this place, but you can find it in IFC mall on Central. Typical Chinese restaurant with many round tables, delicious noodles, meat, rice and the best fried spring rolls I've ever eaten! When we finished the first plate of them, we had to order one more plate! For those who cannot eat with chopsticks they are able to give you a cutlery. We were almost the only Caucasian there, but I am very happy that we found this place.
Address: IFC mall, 8 Finance Street Central
Egg tarts. I could write about them the whole post. Egg tarts. Delicious as nothing else, so different from anything else. Not every place makes them really tasty but I can recommend one place on Causeway Bay. Usually they are really cheap but their taste is amazing. They are not sweet nor salty. I tried bake them once in Czech and I think I made them very well, they weren't same as those in Hong Kong or in Taipei, but my family liked them a lot. I can compare them to European dough for strudel filled with custard or pudding.
Address: Tsui Wah Restaurant, 489 Jaffe Road, Causeway Bay
You can try to buy some fresh take-away sushi (you can find them in glossary shops as Wellcome or International) and eat it outside,
if it's not raining. It's nice to do it at night, because it is not so hot anymore and parks are full of people, so it's not creepy, but they are not too crowded. As you can see, we were drinking a bit too and it was amazing night!
