Stop thinking, start acting.

As you may know, I came back to Hong Kong for modeling and because I love my job so much and maybe you are interested in modeling too, I decided to show you, how your snap shoots can look, when you want to start working as a model.

When you want to be a model, you need to find a good mother agency, which will help you with everything else. You will have your bookers, who will keep trying to find you some job as a fashion shows, catalogue shootings, shooting for magazines, lookbooks and many other different kinds of jobs.

They will also help you to find an other agencies around the world, where you may work as well. And because only your mother agency can find you your abroad agencies, it's really important to sign the contract with a strong mother agency in your country with many clients and contacts. 

Many agencies have their scouters who find their new faces (new girls), but you don't have to wait for someone contacting you, because maybe you will never be found and then you will never be a model. The point is that you can always send your photos to the agency by e-mail and now I want to give you some tips how these photos should look like. 

1) Don't wear strong make-up. The agency has to see how you look naturally.

2) Make two different sets of photos. The first set dressed in some clothes, where the bookers can see your body and the second set in swimwear.

3) Wear high heels and make sure that your clothes really fits you. It's better to wear something simple for example you can wear jeans or black trousers with some simple top.

4) Let them see your hair. You can have a ponytail on some photos too.

5) Take photos in front of the simple wall (white wall is the best) and make sure that there is enough of light, because you cannot use the photoshop or another program to change your photos. Send only basic photos, it doesn't matter that you don't have an expensive camera, but try to take as good photos as you can.

6) Pose. Make some straight poses, just for showing your body and then you can do some natural poses. Also take full-body photos and then some portraits or half-body photos.

7) Send these photos on e-mail of some good agency, but choose just a few of them, they don't have to see hundreds of your photos to see if they are interested in cooperation with you or not.
